MIKE “CHAI” SCOTT TURNED BURR OAK BOWL

The artist is a true exponent of turning wood. He uses oak, elm and ash in their natural form with a particular interest in burr woods showing all their knots and imperfections. He meticulously turns, scorches and incises the wood to crate stunning designs, and real statement pieces. These days his work is in high demand among collectors and galleries alike.
